Activities
We have a varied programme of activities that are enjoyable, engaging and stimulating. The list opposite shows the kinds of activities that we offer, but it is by no means exhaustive and we are always open to suggestions.
The children always come out of school starving, so while they wait for the hot food to be prepared (pasta, jacket potato, pizza, fish fingers etc), we give them a quick snack (biscuit/fruit) while discussing the activity of the day with them. Although particiption in the activity is not compulsory, we encourage them all to take part as we know how much fun and enjoyment the children get from doing the activites.
Once the children have had their hot food, we start the activity.
The children love to be outside as much as possible, so whenever the weather is good (particularly in the Summer term), we take them out to our wonderful Forest School area where they are free to run around, play with their friends and take part in the daily activity.
